The Consortium of Independent Institutions with e-Governance is a network of Indian institutions involved in best practices in e-governance. This is a virtual community whose membership can be obtained virtually by institutions registered in India with legal existence. Anyone can search for the membership status of participating organizations through the egov.ind.in website. Only a few institutions are allowed to be members of this consortium. The application and approval of membership are absolutely free.
